Conviviality is at the heart of this event and we have organised a few group lunches so we can all relax and share a bit of bicycle banter together!

Below are details for group lunches for stages 1, 3 and 4 (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday), plus an evening meal in Homps (Day 1).  These lunches are open to partners, friends, supporters and CSF volunteers.   We look forwarding to seeing you!

First stop - Marseillette!

Pulled pork in a bun

On Thursday 22 June, Adele and Ian from Chillis & Spice have offered to come along and cook a special CSF lunch at the picnic area near Marseillette! 

Options for meat eaters: pulled pork in a bun, BBQ chicken salad bowl and a portion of 'posh potato' salad

For vegetarians there will be spicy cheese quesadillas, Mexican pasta salad (beans, corn, avocado, tomatoes, pasta etc) and 'posh potato' salad


Both options will include tortilla chips and some of their delicious handmade BBQ sauces  

For dessert: coconut ice cream or orange sorbet

Reservation is essential so please use the form on the right of this page if you would like to book.  15€ per person (which includes a donation to CSF) payable on the day.  Partners, friends and non-cyclists welcome!



Special dietary needs can also be catered for, please just let them know in advance.


Also available at this lunch will be a range of refreshments including some rather fabulous real-ale brewed locally in Gruissan.  The beers from La Mer à Boire have been offered to CSF at a very generous discount so this is a great chance to give them a try.  (Unfortunately, the brewery is closed when we will be passing through Gruissan on Saturday!).



The Evening En Bonne Compagnie

For the evening meal at Homps on 22 June, En Bonne Compagnie are offering a special fixed price menu for CSF


Twice Baked Combebelle Goats Cheese Soufflê with a Red Onion Marmalade (v)


Smoked Haddock Brandade Cakes & Lime Yoghurt Dressing


Duck Breast Mille Feuille with home-cooked Potato Crisps and a Banyuls Sauce


Pan fried Artichokes, Spinach and Semolina Gnocchi and a creamy Lemon Sauce (V)


Nougat Glacé served with Red Fruit Compote


Warm Chocolate Fondant with Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Franck & Vanessa at Côté Sud

Everywhere by the coast is likely to be busy on a Saturday in June, but Franck and Vanessa are reserving space for a special CSF group lunch at 15€/person including wine.
